Moldavian Dragon's Head

Bees love these prolific lemon-scented blue flowers, which are highly suggestive of dragons' heads - complete with teeth on their open mouths. Also makes an enjoyable lemony tea. An easy to grow annual. Sow 6 mm (1/4 in) deep anytime in May - thin to 15 cm (6 in) or more. Pretty in rows or patches in the garden and tough enough to grow in open field. Plants reach 50 cm (2 ft) tall. Harvest tops in bloom before they set seed for the best tea. Flowers from August and into September. Remove plants after flowering - unless you are saving that seed - as they can self sow easily.
